Documents in board file appearing horizontal?

I am hoping someone with more experience can help me out with this. I've been told that it doesn't matter, told that it does, and told that it does only for the performance section (IE 1059s and NCOERs). The last part makes more sense to me as I don't think that all of my awards can be scanned in vertical??? Getting my first look for SFC and I'm super excited and this issue just dawned on me. If they all need to be vertical, then it looks like I have a lot more work to do than I thought. I checked my performance section and all documents are vertical, so I'm good on that front, but nearly everything in my commendatory and education portions are horizontal, and that's like 70 documents.
