Don't Judge Blacks Differently
Does race trump truth? In a confrontation between police and perpetrators, what is more important? Facts or skin color? When protests morph into riots, do we...
This is a very clear though very concisely expressed, by a woman of color. Do you Agree?

SSG (Join to see) This is the first I've seen but I'm going looking now. Thanks for the heads up. If it is anything like this one they will hit the mark.

The more we concentrate on our differences, the less we capitalize on our similarities. Yet, there is a need to level the playing field to the point where everyone has an equal place at the table. As someone with European and Native American backgrounds, having lived my life overseas, most discrimination seemed to be against "Americans" and "Foreigners" not just folk from different tribes. It took a long time to understand issues of race and gender in the United States. It's taken just as long to understand that we have a police problem compounded by fears of stereotypes that are sometimes perpetuated by the very races that perpetuate them. Like it or not, agree with it or not, the US Military, nudged by Congress, has been a leader in implementing serious social changes in the areas of race, gender, sexual orientation. We still have difficulty recognizing when we've been all that we can be.

SGM (Join to see) SGM great comments I agree with you. I think the Military because of it's forced diversity, i.e. Being placed in units that are made up of multi mix of everything and everyone; are better at coping than in the civilian sector. (for the Majority) I understand all is a non-existent quota.

MAJ Robert (Bob) Petrarca Sir, tuning out from the Question, the Video, or the Topic? Did you give the video a listen... it is worth the effort of getting past PC to hear what she says. if that is what it was.
