I'm trying to get into the 75th RR, and I've heard of people not getting selected because of their leadership skills, or the way they work with others, as well as getting booted out of the 75th for the same things. I've never really been in a high pressure team environment like this, so I'm wondering what resources are suggested for ensuring that I do not fall short in those areas.

At your level nothing you read will help you with the leadership you need to learn. Practice and failure is what you need first. There are lots of great books and courses that will teach you HOW to apply leadership when you understand WHAT leadership is.

For now, when you’re in OSUT just look for opportunities to be in charge. People usually are not looking to be in charge because it’s more work and you get all the blame. That alone will get you enough experience to make it through RASP. When you’re in RASP, remember these rules:
When in charge, take charge
Always make a decision; the wrong decision is better than no decision. (This single rule embodies the entire philosophy and drive of the 75th)
When you’re not in charge, always support the leader.
Don’t be a dick. Nobody likes working with a dick.

A quick and great Leadership Tactic that to remember to follow I have found is

Mission
Men
Me


Repeating this everytime you come into work helps you get the mission done, take care of your troops and most importantly make sure you are a great leader in the end

Leadership is learned by experience and observing leaders. Until you apply the principal in leadership resources or see them in action you won’t really know how to lead
