My previous MOS was 25Q, and my new MOS will be 92Y, in the two years that this contract will eat up, will I be able to go back to being a 25Q in my next reenlistment? I’ve never reclassed and I’ve had a break in service of a little under two years so I’m not sure what to expect as far as AIT goes either.

You can only serve in one MOS on active duty. You can request to switch into your old MOS but only if your MOS proponent writes a memo stating you’re still qualified in the MOS and the MOS strengths support you switching. For 25Q that most likely will never happen. It’s a small MOS and they are frequently over strength

Yes you can. I did. Paperwork/request has to be submitted. But it can be done.
