Does anyone else find this hotline useful? I have called on many occasions when I feel really overwhelmed with life and the uncertainty of where im headed. I have cried, cursed, asked questions and basically been an open book to a complete stranger over the phone. I am really truly greatfull for them and their support because heaven knows it's not really coming in from the people i call friends and family. One thing they always ask is do i ever think about suicide and thats one answer thats a no brainer for me..HELLLL to the MUTHAFNNN NAW..lol!!!...

CPL Hayward Johnson, if you ever need someone to talk to, here's my email, [login to see] , or inbox me here on RP, I will give you my phone #. WE don't know each other but we are bonded by the brotherhood/sisterhood we all shared while wearing the uniform. My contract may have ended, but I will not leave a fallen comrade behind, I will not idly standby by and leave someone. People need to realize just a simple "hello" and "smile" can make such a huge impact on someone who's day just started out rough.

There's a website, just a resource to look at:

I commend your courage to use this resource. Many of my friends went through the same transitional issues and did not use this hotline at all. Some of them might still be here if they did. I think it shows strength to reach out and not only admit you need the help, but apply it to your new life and acsend through your struggles.

Thanks Sgt Chiaraluce...i also think about our brothers and sisters as well who would be here still if a different route was used to help get to them...maybe by sharing my experience here may help a fellow soldier out
