About 4.5 years ago I was at FT. Hamilton Brooklyn NY.
In processing station, when a young man (A Marine), saw a future Marine on line, going through the process. The Marine noted how he was wearing his pant's, The Marine pointed him out, and said, PULL YOUR PANTS UP!!, you see your waist, this is why you wear a belt around your waist.
So much said, I just wanted to share something biology with you concerning this generation and perhaps an possible understanding as to why they wear there pants loooooooooow.
Please share your thoughts on the pic.
Do you really think this guy can keep up with you in a 3 mile run? lol
I think he could. Or at least I would give him a shot. I mean this just a punk out on the streets being a civilian. That is why they break you down at boot camp and form you into a service member. So he may dress and act like this now, but after boot camp, I am willing to bet his views, attire, and attitude will change to conform to the environment of his service; in this case, the Marines.
Now with that being said, I do know there are those bad eggs that don't change and continue to act, dress, etc when not in uniform. Nothing we can do about them but hold them to the standard while in uniform.
