Is anyone familiar with Purdue University Global? Is it accredited and are they military friendly?

I'm pursuing a degree in Emergency Management and found that Purdue offers what I'm looking for but I've heard conflicting information and reviews based on them being for-profit and associated with the former Kaplan College.

Purdue University itself is a ranked university, but it’s “global” branch is a for-profit school. Although it is “accredited”, it is by a different organization than the actual university. The former is good, but the latter is questionable

SGT (Join to see) - They are both a part of the larger Purdue University system. Purdue University in West Lafayette is the main campus, and it has a very strong reputation. Purdue University Global is their online university, and its reputation is not as strong. Both are accredited institutions, and both are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.

Purdue University has been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (HLC-NCA) since 1913. Our most recent accreditation visit was in October of 2019. I don't know if how friendly it is to military. Maybe someone else can comment on that.
