I wish the latest ALARACT would come out already. And I know that everybody has to be switched over to the "new and improved" Operational Camouflage Pattern" (OCP) AKA "Scorpion W2's" by 2018. But are we authorized to start wearing them once they go on sale at MCSS? Just like the new APFT?

It's probably going to be a unit call on when you can wear the new uniform. IET Soldiers will start being issued them 1st QTR FY 16 so, you will probably start seeing the new privates wearing them when they start arriving this fall OCT/NOV.

I would check with your command or installation before just throwing on your OCP and rolling to work on 1 July. The ALARACT should be coming out soon, I just picked up this picture through some E-9 channels.

this is the same thing I have seen SGM i know when i came back in 06 from afghanistan we had guys wearing ACU's and Woodlands i would agree with you that it would probaley be up to the COC but thank you for the picture it does help a bit
