I can’t speak to the current process as I went through it in 1984 to 1990, But I applied four times. When I made the alternate list I was picked up within a week

If going Federal OCS: From packet submission to school attendance? Will take close to a year. My board was Dec 2014, board results came out in February 2015, received my ATRRS school date to attend September 2015.

That depends on a few things. Are you talking the Federal Program? Thats just a matter of throwing a packet together, getting chain of command approval and making the attrs reservation. Granted you will need a current chapter 2 physical and of course, meet all the requirements. Barring any hiccups on the moral/medical end, I usually can have a packet together and a reservation made in a few days. The Federal course is 90 days long.
