Just FYI - Similar functionality already exists on RallyPoint. For members looking for openings in assignments, in the sub-header (on desktop) just go to Careers -> Military Assignments. You'll see PCS opportunities based on hundreds of thousands of RallyPoint members.

Thanks for the info. I've been in the Army for 13 years and I just recently got to know RallyPoint. Didn't realize there was such a huge social media network for military personnel that actually discuss talk worthy topics.

Will this facilitate both conus and oconus assignments? A fear I have is about security. If active duty Army is the target market, how will this app protect every soldier using so his/her information does not fall into the wrong hands.

To answer your first question, yes it would facilitate both conus and oconus. In regards to your second question, security would be the number one priority, and there are several ways to control that with app functionalities. It would be similar to the security perimeter that allow you to access your financial institutions app.

Good information above but for an older person like me it does not answer the question of "how do I get the app" or "where is this app located".

I'm taking a survey to build a social following, to generate as much information as possible to meet the needs of Soldiers personally and professionally within the app. If you have any input please post your thoughts.
