Grave markers from the VA are only given at time of need. You need to get a reliable person a copy of your 214 and let them know your wishes. If you are buried in a National Cemetery, one Gravestone is used for both of you, her on the back. If a plaque is requested for a private cemetery, only you are on it.

Contact you local county Veteran Services office and they can get you in touch with the VA folks that handle the cemeteries!
