When are they going to start paying caregivers of Disabled Veterans before 9/11?

There is a process to get paid. Are you talking about a family member taking care of the disabled person or someone from outside the home?

When my Daughter who is special needs turned 21 we had to get guardianship. Then medicade, SSI. Medicade paid for home health. I'm in Texas. Medicade will pay a company to provide home health. Texas prefers the company hire a family member, in your case your wife. So your insurance through your medicade should be your next step in getting a home care company to pay your wife to be your care provider. She'll have to take about a week of classes (CPR and such).

Oh, and one more thing. The more hours your wife has to take care of you, the more money she makes.
