This past Sunday, Vietnam Veteran and POW COL George R. Hall pased away. He was one of the longest ever in captivity at 7.5 years.
A Vietnam War veteran, who endured one of the longest captivities as a prisoner of war in American history, has died.

What an incredible story. This man deserves great respect for being able to overcome such circumstances. Definitely puts perspective our own "struggles."

Thanks for this post. I get some of these from The Patriot Guard and some from an Air Force Veteran's site. Every day is a remembrance of veterans lost and I am thankful that you are helping with this task.

SSgt Olson, any time. I too am a member of the Patriot Guard although I haven't rode a mission in a while. I do believe in honoring and remembering all of our veterans regardless of branch and era. My dad is a Vietnam Veteran and is partially my reason for serving.
