Can you put specific civilian certifications on your ERB?

Only certain certifications that have to do with your job. There’s a big matrix listing them all. Your PADI scuba cert is not one of them

A way around this is to see if a college could evaluate/credit you semester hours for the certification. I did this with my first-responder certification. I had one of my soldiers also get his welding school added to his ERB. It did NOT pertain to our job.

You can submit for the equivalent MOS providing your training and certification documentation is acceptable and be awarded that MOS without further training.
