Upon being selected at POAS when do you have to commit to PSYOPQC?

I am wondering at what point one becomes obligated to attend PSYOPQC if selected at POAS. I am required to serve 2 years at my current (OCONUS) duty station and am only at my 9 month mark. At what point do you officialy sign to reenlist/reclass? Additionally, do you lose your original enlistment bonus/incentive as 37F/PSYOP is considered to be a SOF MOS? I have asked my recruiter and he seems unsure so I am looking for personal experiences. Thank you!

Great questions asked! Now I am unsure if there is a stipulation that could get you around this but more than likely you will have to serve your required two year minimum and then you would attend POQC. But, as with everything there are work arounds. And 37F is a SOF mos. within the army the 3 core SOF mos jobs are 18x, 37F, and 38B. Have you already received your last reenlistment bonus or are you detailing a future reenlistment bonus? A word of advice - if you can simply extend that way your time covers you through POQC and then you can re-enlist after you have acquired a foreign language your bonus might be higher. Just saying! Yet, most of the question you are asking should be referred to a Special Operations Recruitment Battalion (SORB) recruiter. Email your recruiter is you have already attended POAS. Unless I’m reading your post incorrectly?

SSG,
To clarify, my enlistment incentive is SLRP and is being paid out over 3 years. I am concerned I will only get 2/3 of the incentive at best and worst case be required to pay it back due to it being tied to my current MOS. I am on an initial contract of 5 years and will likely be required to extend by at least a year to fulfill the 3 required by 37F, should I attend and pass PSYOPQC. Thank you for the response!
