I don't want to go into too much detail on this forum for my situation, please bear with me.

I was chaptered out of the military 8 years ago. I was given an Honorable Discharge with an RC4 (non-misconduct, non-medical, non-mental). I requested a Personal Appearance from the Discharge Board since I had 9 years of service. I did so with the intention of producing evidence and witnesses regaridng the misstatements of others. I was never provided with a board. I am filing paperwork with the Army Discharge Review Board Agency. As I am a very detailed oriented person I have meticulously gone through The Army Discharge Regulation and though it states that I am entitles to a Discharge Review board if requested, does not state what would happen if I was not provided with a board after specifically requesting one. In my mind, by the failure to provide a board, I should not have been chaptered. So, if there are any JAG/TDS military folks out there that could either provide some insighte or are willing to help me (and I will do most of the work) get my packet ready for the ADRB, I would greatly appreciate it.

If there are any Legal Services personnel out there that wouldn't mind reviewng my Chapter files and helping me decipher where procedure wasn't followed, I would greately appreciate it.

Hi SGT Butler. Thanks for posting here. I don't know the answer for your unique situation -- but I would recommend you connect with MSG(P) Matt Quick here on RallyPoint. He is one of the handful of Senior NCOs that I turn to with difficult questions. I hope this helps. Please let me know if your question isn't resolved in the next few days, and I'll see what I can do to help further. Thanks and best of luck!
