Looks like a normal moon for this part of its phase, the bird was an added bonus.

Annular Solar Eclipse, Cowboy. It happened this past Sunday between 9AM and noon. This is a time delay photo of the event and indeed, this kite was an added bonus.

It was the solar eclipse or ring of fire moment that apparently happens only once every 100 years. The moon blocked out the sun part of africa,middle asia an south east asia for 3.5 hours while we were asleep here in the United states. I remember the last solar eclipse was July 2017 in the states but I believe it only lasted for 30 mins. In my opinion I believe it just part of the celestial cycle that happens every so often like when you can see Jupiter from earth with a telescope.
