What are the chances of getting selected for 70D board ? I have been in the reserves for 4+ years and am fresh out of college. I have an associate’s degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in computer science . But no work experience yet.

Hello SPC Cabore,
I was boarded 2019. I earned a BS degree in business, and working on MS degree in information sciences. My career background was quality control, not IT, but still I was selected. So, my suggestion is that focusing on what you can make better, such as brush up your AMEDD packet resume and statement of motivation. Good luck!

Got it. I will definitely try to polish these two sir. Did you get to stay at your reserve unit when you commissioned (if you were in the reserves)?

SPC (Join to see) I was an enlisted soldier in the reserves, and I still stay in the reserves. only different thing would be I will be transferred to another unit due to the 70D slot in my unit. I am still waiting for the new order to attend the direct commission course and BOLC.

This year we have experience a ton of applicants and only a few open slots. Experience is the best but not necessary required. Good luck.
