When should I tell the Army that I have 2 teeth needing to be pulled, and being in need of some serious dental work?

I’m leaving for basic in two weeks and already went and passed meps for my physical screening through dep, I have 3 cavities that need filled (small ones) and two molars on the top of my mouth that need pulled. They didn’t look at my teeth at all at meps, is this something I can get disqualified for? And when should I inform them at reception or basic? I know that they have a dental exam at reception but will they work on them there and recycle me in basic? Or will they just work on them while I’m in basic? I asked my brother and he said they should work on them while in basic but where my teeth are in pretty bad shape they should work on them during my 22 week osut. I’m not scared about dentist exams at all just worried about me getting hyped up to join these past few years and don’t wanna get disqualified for something they can work on

They will only perform emergency dental while in training. If your teeth have waited this long you should be fine. However, if your milers. Eco me impacted or you get a different type infection in your mouth you must report to sick all.

You posted this two days ago and received good answers. You should not be posting it again.

PVT (Join to see) - The questions in your second post were covered by the answers to your first post. You were told that you would not be disqualified. You will have to wait and see how your dental situation is handled. No one on this site can tell you how your situation will be handled. In training listen closely and be observant. Stay squared away at all times and you will be fine. Put forth maximum effort at all times and never quit!

they might do it in AIT, i told the dentists i needed a root canal when i went and they did it for me but if you can keep training with your teeth in they probably wont pull them
