You will need to get in contact with the VA and inquire. Only they can provide you with a proper answer.

Did you sign up for survivor benefits- that can guarantee 50% of your retirement pay to her.

MAJ Ken Landgren No, SBP is an annuity that pays (up to) 55% of retired pay to the survivors of a retiree on a monthly basis. You pay in for (I believe) 30 years, but the benefit is fully guaranteed from day 1 (meaning if you die BEFORE those 30 years, it still pays at full amount). It pays until beneficiary dies (spouse) or ages out (children).

You MAY be thinking of death gratuity, but that only applies to AD deaths.

SFC Casey O'Mally I think it also stops paying out if spouse re-marrries, but not 100% sure.

I have SBP for my dead ex. I need to fix that. Upon my death what will happen to my VA and SSDI funds in regards for the wife?

As part of your estate planning, you are doing the right thing by asking this question now. I recommend checking with the VA. They may be eligible for dependency indemnity compensation (DIC). They should be able to retain the same benefits as before (i.e. CHAMPVA, ID card, Chapter 35), but DIC payment rates are much lower than that of 100%. I went on base and visited the JAG office and had them take care of all my other legal paperwork such as living will, will, POA, etc...
