I know they held off due to COVID, but has there been any talk about what the new time line looks like? Has there been any new publications on the standards since the announcement to hold off the roll out this fall?

There is already talks about suspending it indefinitely until further studies can be done on transmission rates of any virus ( now more than ever as it would require service members to be active on Gyms) to get ready for this test.

I am not surprised this virus will essentially change the minds of everyone. I think the APFT will be here to stay for a while longer.

CPT Enrique M. Sir, I have heard the same or at least pushing it to the right. But have not seen anything put out through the S1 Net that I am on. I know some units are having trouble getting equipment. We just received ours at Fairchild AFB; now the struggle is to find where we can set it up.

I am aware of this release as far as the restrictions and guidelines during COVID. I was looking for any updates to the program itself, for when it will start back up. Have you heard of any specific changes to the program, or any news of a new roll out date?

We were supposed to do a familiarizing test at AC, but AC got changed, so we're still doing the apft. This will give more units a chance to get their equipment in too
