What should I expect at Camp Walker regarding any major rules and how the barracks are?

25B on Camp Walker? Are you heading to 169th Sig Co? If so I can speak with some authority.

Major rules, not really too many that I can think of off the top of my head. One bottle of liquor or a six pack of beer, that is the most that can be stored in your room.
Guests have to leave by 2300 I believe. (I’m married, so I don’t worry about bringing females over.)
Other than that it’s pretty common sense rules. Keep your room clean, stuff like that.

The barracks themselves.. are okay? I guess it depends on how nice or crappy you’re coming from. I had some mold growing in the bathroom when I moved in. Took a couple thorough scrubbing but it’s all gone now. It got tested, and wasn’t black mold. AC is currently not turned on, even though it is starting to get hot. Though it should be on by the time you get here.
The quarters themselves come with a bed, desk, and two dresser drawers, plus a tv cabinet. The closet is fairly big, I can lay down in it and shut the door. So probably around 6 feet by 2 feet.

We have been hearing rumors that we’re going to be moving soon. We’ll see if that happens.
