I know it is a silly, not widely recognized holiday, but today (10 April) is National Siblings day. I hope you take some time today to tell your brothers and sisters about the effect they have on your life.
In honor of the day, I want to say to my brothers and sisters in arms (and civilians that serve within the confines of the DoD) that I really do understand and appreciate the life you have chosen to live. The military life is not for everyone, and even if you are no longer serving or going to end your career early, I still thank you for the sacrifices you have given in defense of the United States.

Just saw this and had to smile. My wife and I were just talking the other day about how it has gotten to the point that everyday is a national "something" day. This, however, is one that I had never heard of ... and obviously missed.
BTW, my brother and sister were both in the Air Force and I am very proud of them (of course, I would be even if they hadn't served).
