The recruiter I am talking to doesn't really have a straight answer regarding that and I've seen a lot of different answers. Does reserve 37F still go through the selection pipeline and the MP OSUT training? I've seen that AIT can last 14 weeks but apparently active duty training lasts 4-6 months plus OSUT MP training. I'm just a little confused and would appriciate a little insight.

For a 37F in the Reserves, Basic and AIT lasts roughly 20 weeks total. Reservists do not go through the pipeline or MP OSUT either. When I went through, AIT was at Fort Bragg, but information that I have gathered since then has told me that AIT will be moved to Fort Jackson.

SPC (Join to see) You will still learn the same modules in AIT that the Active Components need to learn. It will just be geared more towards the Reservist side of the job.

SPC (Join to see) - So do they just go through everything besides the special operations language training?

SPC (Join to see) You will be taught Psychological Operations. You will not be given a language course and you will not be sent to Airborne school. Your unit will have to send you to those schools.

AIT for PSYOP (Reserves) has moved to Fort Jackson. The first training cycle started end of March 2020. I can confirm that the BCT/AIT training is about 20 weeks total

Reserve CA and PSYOP are taught AIT through the Special Warfare Center and School, but in different companies than the Active counterparts. Reserve has no jump school, no Selection, no MP OSUT, no SOLT, no Unconventional Field Exercise at the end, no SOF Skills portion. It is just the MOS part.

Unless they changed it coming straight in your Basic and AIT should be the same as active, they only time I have ever seen a reservist not go to active AIT's was for reclass.
