I assume your question pertains to pushing the effective date of your discharge to the right. Is this correct?

If you’re remaining in the same COMPO my intuition suggests there is some flexibility to ensure you remain as an accession credit. As long as you have been approved for the appointment the Oath can be administered based upon your availability to do so. You’re typically granted some timeframe to complete the Oath after the board publishes its results. CH (CPT) (Join to see)

Yes, I will continue in the same Component and I will also stay within the Brigade. I also have my appointment offer.

Roger. You should be fine. I would, however, encourage you to push the situation for awareness through the S1 channels so your circumstance isn’t inadvertently overlooked. CH (CPT) (Join to see)

It would not be falsifying. It would be the requested effective date listed on my Personnel Action Form. I also requested and signed within enough time to execute, due to the Pandemic the Army is Cautious.
