They showed Paddington Bear instead (really). The wussification of our youth continues.

A long time ago, I had wondered why my college classes reminded me of being back in the fourth grade. I simply thought I was an anti-social people-hater.
The theory hasn't been disproved, necessarily, just re-evaluated.

I don't understand society anymore. Last time I checked, college was a place for "out of the box" thinking and experiencing new ideas. It was a place where you can be comfortable in your own mind and convictions to the point where speaking out was encouraged, even if it conflicted with someone else's. That is how creativity is born and the ability to embrace/understand other's ideas. Now, it's just a place where everyone is absorbed in social media and just going through the motions to get it done. Oh, and heaven forbid you have differing opinions from someone else, then you are a sexist/racist/homophobe/etc. Everyone now gets offended too easily. The funny thing is, it hasn't even been that long since I graduated.

Supposedly the movie is "Racist" and "Anti-Muslim" according to the news articles I can find.
PC crap goes too far.

Perhaps they should only show old re-runs of Teletubbies in order to not offend anybody.

For people such as you and I PO3 James, it would be torture, however, these college students are so concerned about offending everybody but we in the military, and America itself, that it is likely that Teletubbies are all they could tolerate aside from perhaps some Michael Moore UN-documentaries.

You know, it makes me wonder if these First Person Shooter video games should be forbidden on campus also. I mean, all the violence and death, and destruction has got to make these supposed peace and tolerance zealots feel unsafe as well.
