When the Army moves to the new camo pattern, will we all be looking like idiots in our mis-matched gear? Anyone know if the uniform change will include the gear, and when production will start? I don't recall seeing the new patterns among stuff on the shelves in the tactical section of Clothing and Sales or AAFES

It is has been stated numerous times that the Army plans to dye all the equipment. They are currently trying to devise a system that can be sent out to locations (as I understand it) to do the dying at the installation level to avoid the costs of shipping everything off to have it done.
Whether this will work or not, I have no clue, but that is the plan.

I’ve even mentioned a plan to repurpose current stocks of UCP equipment such as MOLLE and IOTV covers to a new, more usable colorway.
