How long will it take for my medical waiver for my vision to be approved or denied by the Navy?

Hello I'm wonder how long it take for medical wavier for my vision because it 20/30 and 20/100 but they say I pass MEP but they want to check me more because they thought something wrong with my eye that not making me see low distance in my right eye which mean I can't see small thing from afar that well but I'm wondering when is it going to get approved or denied because I been waiting a half a month now since I went to the eye consultation and now it March because I hear to they're just passing around paper of other people wavier as well.But why does it take so long to get a answer from them because MEP doesn't take that long when you're there and I think my vision would affect my performance on my job or bootcamp.What was the point of going to a eye consultation if they're just going disapprove why wavier than just permanently disqualified me when I was at MEP I just find it to make no sense with how quickest and fastest how the military but this take up to a 3 month or year to hear an answer. I want to be a chef and I think my vision won't affect my job or performance at bootcamp.
