What have you done for the Warrior today?

So this is question asked a lot around the Veterans Advocate world and I'm just wondering what other Veterans have done or are doing to help your fellow brothers and sisters-in-arms. It doesn't have to be anything major or on a national scale; sometimes the small acts have the biggest impact.

I gave my condolences for a fallen warrior from our greatest generation a WWII veteran, Terry Tarantino, 94 from Salisbury, NC who passed yesterday surrounded by his family and friends. I feel the recognition for his service to our nation is much deserved and needed.

I have also been mentoring some of my fellow NCOs earlier today at one of the schoolhouses on post when I saw some actions being taken that were not in a professional manner needed to be conducted in front of young impressionable troops.

Other than that just doing my best to pass on my knowledge and wisdom I have accumulated over the years from my own mistakes and learning curves from a 27 year career, and hoping to provide our future military leaders with whatever assistance and guidance I can provide.

I think the sharing of knowledge is a great way to help other Veterans. That's why RallyPoint is a pretty neat tool to add to that. Great reply!
