has anyone done the army internship program?

hey guys so im setting up my appointment soon for the internship program and was wondering what everyones experience was? im looking for automotive,plumber,electrician something hands on and not behind a computer all day atleast. i want to go back to my home state of NY, how do i find out if there are any programs out there?
