I did a Direct Commission and I'm yet to attend DCC & BOLC.
But in the meanwhile, can I attend AT or ECT?

You sure can and will likely need the AT orders to have accumulated enough points for a qualifying year. Welcome to the AMEDD Officer Corps!

If your commander says you can attend AT/ECT then sure. You won’t be able to shoot if they do weapons qualifications though since you haven’t had the training. You’d probably be on some sort of range duty.

I'm a reserve 2LT that hasn't been to BOLC. They'll be going to the range at our next drill in a few weeks to qualify prior to going to AT next month as well. Will I not be allowed to shoot , too, then?

I do not believe you will be allowed to shoot but can assist with range duties. 1LT (Join to see)

MAJ (Join to see) okay thanks. I will ask my commander too. Since no one has told me differently yet and we go to the range next week.

When I was a reservist, my unit counted BOLC as the AT for that year. After BOLC, I loved the active duty lifestyle I transferred over to RA. But to answer your question, I would say it depends on your Commander.
