While not specifically targeted on the list RP will no doubt begin to draw attention of these cyber space stalkers. I recommend you set your privacy setting to only allow “verified” accounts to see your personal information.

There is all kinds of FOUO as well as some Unclassified pamphlets for family members that Soldiers can use to set their privacy settings on their social media sites. Your security manager should be able to provide those information. You won't find my name of any social media sites.

LCDR Bill Wright - Great advice not only for RP but any social media people are involved with. FB only allow friends and family viewing access, etc.
I created a Twitter account years ago but never used it went back recently to check it and I had many people from the middle east following me. The result was my deleting everyone and tightening up the account. And I still don't use it, maybe time to close it? lol

Yes the advise applies across all accounts, DOD is doing a good job advising SM on the other four main accounts but makes no mention of RP so I felt it a good idea to remind our shipmates here of the risk.

Everyone needs to realize that their information is never safe online. I urge everyone to use common sense when they post online. If you post it, others can find it.

Cpl Brett Wagner Everyone uses your Digital Identity to find what type of person they are dealing with. All American should take their online presence very seriously, and do their best to educate themselves in what can be shared. NOTHING that is put online is private. A criminals Facebook page can be used as evidence to convict them.
