What are the requirements to becoming a Sapper Instructor?

I looked online tried to find as much info as i can on it but no luck, i plan on calling the school house but later on this week. Until then anyone have any info on it?

Are you sapper qualified? Are you an NCO? If so, instructor positions are generally handled by your branch manager. If it's set up like Ranger school you will only be Cadre until you are a KD complete SSG.

Have buddies with guys who already are or have been instructors? They can put the good word in for you from what I've seen... a few years ago, seemed like half the instructors were from my old company at Bragg! You can try branch as well and see if they have any slots. And you will have to do an interview. Wish I had more info than that, I wanna say my buddies old squad leader is an instructor there now, I'll talk to him Tuesday if you still don't have enough info by then

SSG(P) (Join to see) so he said that he just contacted the school house But just like any instructor position, they want you to be an E6 with KD time. I would wait until you get your KD time to be an instructor. You should always do that first, it looks better for promotion as well. Sapper instructors are highly favored. I think you'll be there soon.
