How is it like applying for Registered Behavior Technician certification as a 68X, Behavior Health Specialist?

I will be graduating from AIT next month as a BHT, and some of the requirements to sit for the RBT exam are completing 40 hours of training and passing the RBT assessment. If anyone has taken this exam before, is there any way these two requirements could be waived as I will already be a BHT in the military?

hello,
I am planning on re-classing to 68X. I am currently serving in the Army Reserves and using Army COOL to pay for this certification. You will still need to to take all the requirements. get in contact with Medcerts because they are the ones who are partnered up with the Army for the credential. I started taking the certification this past week and there is a lot of information completely unrelated. It deals with Customer Service and Anatomy. I look forward to going through the motions of the actual behavior stuff. I recommend a Youtube channel called Behavior Works. She is a RBT and puts out a lot of good information. Hope this helps.
Best regards,
