Does anybody have experience transferring from the Army National Guard to Air National Guard?

I'm currently in the VARNG in the process of transferring to the VANG. I've already spoken to an Air Guard recruiter and the job that i'm interested in is available. I know that you have to request a conditional release, but what other paperwork did you have to fill out? What was the process for requesting a conditional release through your unit like?
