Defense of 3rd party is equal to defense of self ... but only if you get it right (eg defending the true vic as opposed to defending the perp who just happens to be getting their ass kicked)
I can't imagine that a pregnant female could be the perp in this case .. but you never know ...

Capt Richard I P., I am along the same lines of thinking on this one. The article indicates that the disability is likely physical, especially since they are (at this time) declining to charge him. That said, if someone even whispers the letters PTSD, the whole ballgame can rapidly change.
