I was called by a man who identified himself as a special agent. I ship out in a week and a half. I googled it and I assume its about my poor credit history. I have not missed any payments in a few years, but I also owe the IRS a few thousand, in which I'm also making monthly payments and haven't missed any. Should I be concerned they will cancel my contract?

Know its just part of a security back ground check, if you have nothing to hind you have nothing to worry about.

It's probably part of your background check, did you enlist for intel?

I wouldn't be concerned about you contact being cancelled. Unless this is about something you haven't mentioned.
Do you know anyone else who enlisted who needs a security clearance, because they interview your contacts for a TS

Only be worried if they ask you for your SSN, credit card number, address, date of birth, and blood type.
