My spouse is ETSing from the Army later this year. I’ll be leaving for Korea sometime later this year. I was wondering if he goes back to his state of residency, will I get BAH for him in that state or will it be based on our last duty station or my state of record?

If your spouse will ETS before you leave for Korea, you will complete a DA 5960 for BAH with dependents for that current duty station.
When you go to Korea, you will do a new 5960 for BAH with dependents based on dependent's location, where ever that is.

Thank you SGM! This is a big help. I’ll have about 7 months left on station after my spouse ETS’

Once your spouse ETS you’ll get with dependents based on their zip code. Make sure you have supporting documentations, e.g. lease contract in the event they ask for it.
