As a leader who takes care of others, how do YOU take care of yourself? How do YOU prevent yourself from 'caregiver or leader fatigue?'

I learned awhile ago to find something you love (for me fishing) and let that be your escape. You need to plan some "me time" in order to function better and give others the attention they deserve.

Been diagnosed with a form of TBI to the right side of the brain. Associated with a stroke I suffered last September. Gotta keep the mind working read a lot and get plenty of outside exercise. Just Blessed it was a wake up call and not a call home.
A lot of what you have shared can be used by many suffering from PSTD and TBI. God Bless and take care of yourself, cause no one else will.

Hit the gym as often as possible.
Read good books (and THE Good Book).
Pray.
Relax.
Get enough sleep.
Eat well. (Or at least try to eat well.)
