What money-saving suggestions do you have that make shopping for groceries at the commissary a good deal?

CH (MAJ) William Beaver, I recommend the Commissary Rewards card. They have things on special all the time, and you can view all the deals before you leave home - online. I tried that and liked it.

Second, coupons (obviously, I guess). Not only coupons from the civilian world, but the coupons they hand out when you walk in the store.
And third, there are undoubtedly some items that you can buy cheaper at a civilian store (Sam's Club, Costco, Aldi's). Comparison shop those items and get the ones you can get cheaper elsewhere, elsewhere.
I asusme all those suggestions are pretty much common sense, but it's what I have to offer.
