Will I be able to receive paternity leave during AIT?

Expecting a child next year around the time I am expected to be in AIT. Would I be able to receive paternity leave as if I was stationed at my duty station? Would I be recycled Etc?

You could, but you could also expect to recycle back a phase to the next class coming through. Probably setting you back several months given your MOS. You're only allowed to miss a given number of hours of POI in any school.
I had the same thing happen to me when I went to 68W. My choice was take leave and recycle back a few months, or finish school and see them after.

My husband has the choice to do the same . We decided whenever our baby comes he will take the leave . He might be recycled. I’m wondering if his station or orders will change hoping they don’t expecally because we’re not hoping for a deployment right off the bat do you know anything abt this ?

Kylie Parr it just depends on how much later his new graduation is. But if it's a difference of 60 days or less it doesn't usually change.

SFC (Join to see) he is active duty and it will be 4 months or more his Ait when he is recycled. Will his orders change ? He got there sometime in September and he would’ve be graduating in February that is 5 months just about and that will be recycled after the leave he takes .

Yea only if you're married but it depends on the commander. If you are married and your spouse is expecting a child they have to give you the free 21 days of leave.

I would try to take it before you leave the command you are at when you had the child. I don't recall the time limit but it needs to be taken within a window. Worst case it can be taken in conjunction with your PCS leave at the end of your class.
