I have been having a lot of issues with my unit and it's become to the point of a hostel work environment. I have been diagnosed with anxiety and depression and coming to work every day is just making it worse.

This needs to be addressed by the COC. If the COC is the problem then go to the next level. Maybe you arent the only one in the unit that are having these issues. It needs to be addressed by the people that can affect change. I can guarantee that if you even try to submit any paperwork like a 4187 requesting a transfer, that this wont make it off of the 1SG's desk if he isn't aware of the issue or hasn't been able to even address the issue. COC is your first stop to address this. Good luck to you. Oh before you go straight to the command, ensure you first line supervisor is aware of the issue as well. Unless they are the issue, then take it to your 1SG.

The you go to your BN, there is always one step above. this is a COC issue, you will not be moved just because you do not like it. If your BN will not address it, you go to the BDE. Im telling you as a former IG, if you go to the IG, the very first thing they will ask is if you have addressed the issue with the COC.

It sounds like what you need to speak to your COC and or higher. If you have these issues diagnosed, I hope you are seeking professional assistance.

Have you talked to your first line supervisor? Your NCOIC? Anyone in your chain of command at all to address the issues?

The only people who can make a transfer happen is your chain of command so you have to bring it up to them. But if you haven't brought your issues to them to give them a chance to rectify the situation, then you are really doing yourself a disservice. Sometimes leadership are ignorant to issues in a unit. Sometimes they ignore it. But you have to let them know and if they don't fix it then you keep taking it higher.
