I have a soldier scheduled for reclass but has not passed her apft can she still attend without a passing apft?

When a Soldier is reclassing they are attending another AIT but are considered MOS-T. With that being said, they must pass an APFT. If they have a profile prohibiting them from taking an APFT, then they are not able to attend. I’m not understanding why a unit would allow a Soldier to attend school without being able to pass an APFT....Passing an APFT is basic Soldiering....

I don’t see why you’d re-classify someone who can’t pass an APFT. A flag presents an issue for re-classification of MOS if I remember correctly
