SGT (Join to see) Your correct answer will come from the VA when you call to cancel. They will tell you the steps that you need to take.

Are you receiving compensation in the form of disability? If you received a disability rating and then returned to active duty, then yes. Any other compensation from the V.A. should have been stopped prior to reentrance to active duty

SGT (Join to see) I would refer you to the V.A. for clarification but from what I know, once you re-enter active duty, your rating goes away which means you would be receiving money that you were no longer authorized

Yes, you will have to pay it back. I sent in my request to suspend my payments when I was called back to active duty a month early but they still sent me a check that I had to pay back.
