Currently disabled... Have Neurobehavioral Syndrome possibly from jet fuel in the drinking water at Camp Lejeune. Have long periods with chronic fatigue; keeps me bedridden and feeble minded (went from regional training instructor and technical writing (wrote manuals) to not remembering how to use a stove. V.A. docs at a loss... anyone with similar experiences please contact me.

Lost my close Uncle the next day after Christmas 2021! He died from bladder cancer thanks to the contaminated water at Camp Lejeune! Staff Sergeant Kenneth E. “Bob”Markwell served his USMC from 1972-1985 and stationed several times to Camp Lejeune and got out of USMC because he didn’t like being there so much! Ironic he would die as a direct result from serving as a proud USMC some 34 years later! He tried to get 30% disability later in life because he kept getting sick and realized the extra money would help later! He kept getting sicker and no reason why? Oh he got 100% disability once it was figured out it was service related! The years off pain and suffering he endured prior to finding the cause was pure torture all to be told by VA in November basically go home and die! “NO ONE WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE” he said the ones responsible are probably all dead too! Lots of veterans don’t know about this! Congress passed an Act to pay for anyone being 30 days on that base from 1950’s to middle 1980’s!! FUBAR!!! My father was a Marine at Lejune, and I was in school on base from 1975-78. How do I get tested for issues that may be from that time period? Any ideas?

I have Deen diagnosed with ulcerative Colitis and it has been linked to the water contamination at MCB Camp La June. I have been sick since 1995 and they finally recognized it in January of last year. I have disability rating of 30% but the sicker I get the higher the rating will go.
As for every thing prior to 2016 I was told I will have to sue the NAVY & MARINE CORP for compinsation and payment of all back bills.
No lawyer will help us because there is a block or something that won't allow them to collect more than 15 -20 % of the award and not 35-40 present as they want so once again GREED stops lawyers from helping us.
I am sick now for over 20 years and it's only going to get worse.
