David is correct. It's the USS Enterprise. That picture was taken on the day of her Inactivation Ceromony. I was invited to attend since I serves onboard and belong to The Enterprise Association. Was a very sad day for those of us that served onboard.

Yes. It is an Aircraft Carrier. US I assume as I see an American Flag... :)
