Where can I find the regulation that covers a PCS from OCONUS?

Looking for help from any 79S or knowledgeable soldiers I'm trying to find the regulation on pcs from oconus. I'm currently on an accompanied tour and am on orders for spring however I've been told that I will be unable to pcs as I would have less than 12 months tis remaining before I ets. I'm jus trying to find the regulation to reference for myself

That is correct, it's six months for a short tour area, 12 months for a long tour area. 12 months from your report date, so actually 13 months total because your report date can't be the same month as your DEROS.
You'll still get orders, you'll just have to sign a declination statement to turn them down or an extension to go. Sign the extension, ETSing from OCONUS is a big pain.

Is there an extension less than 12 months? Or is it just better to do the 2 year reup and only add 7 months?

CPL (Join to see) you have to extend to the date where you will have 12 months from your report date if you are not in your reenlistment window. If you are, you will have to reenlist 2 years.
