Currently looking at a new career field . I’ve been active duty for the past 6 months since I came from the reserves unfortunately I haven’t been able to do my job which It’s not a bad thing since I always wanted to reclass. I’m currently the CSM driver at the 35th TTSB & it’s a wonderful experience so far . I wanna make the most out of my career in the Army and want to experience all the awsome opportunities the army has to offer.

Lots of training.
Drilling down on your geographical area of focus and the cultures and languages there.
Plenty of physical training to keep you ready for an austere environment.

Very different days in the life in garrison as opposed to deployed. Expect to deploy a lot.

I would also like to add to my question 1SG how likely do you think it will be for me to get assigned SouthCom or be able to use my native language (Spanish) . Thanks again for your time

SPC (Join to see) - If you are a native speaker, pretty good. Dialect matters. Castillian, Basque, or Catalonian Spanish is more valuable to the Army than Standard Spanish which is spoken mostly in the Western Hemisphere. SS speakers are pretty common in the Army, so not a shoo-in that you'd go to a SOUTHCOM aligned unit.
If you have a mind to learn, we will train you in whatever language you have a aptitude for and the Army needs.
