Texas based on 2020 edition of US News and World Report's top 25 best places to retire. Three cities in Texas made list (Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, El Paso) and are within reasonable driving distance to military bases (i.e. shopping, medical, etc. ). No cities in Arizona for this list...

Currently in El Paso, TX just a bit too big for me. I've been trying to compare Sierra Vista AZ to Harlingen TX. I want set one up for a permanent resident. They both compare about the same AZ is just a bit more expensive. Getting old need to settle somewhere then travel in -n- out from there. Just can't make up my mind

Well, both places are hot. WAY too hot for me. Sierra Vista is a small town. and there isn't much to do around there. But if you don't mind that I guess it is alright.
