Long story short I now have the opportunity to attend some schools/ classes. I know air assault ranger etc but I was wondering about the more boring classes/ schools that people don’t really talk about. I know mrt, sharp and eo but any other schools or classes I should look into?

As a SGT I would suggest attending Battle Staff NCO. It's not that difficult to get into and it does a good job of explaining Army Doctrine and the planning process.

Your choice.
Depends of if you see yourself as a Combat Leader or as a Staff NCO.

Both go hand in hand. IOT be an effective combat leader a Soldier must develop staff skills and vice versa.

MAJ Javier Rivera - I am agreed that the two should go hand-in-hand and I've seen many NCOs that were very effective Staff NCOs and were superlative Leaders.
BUT I've saw other NCOs that couldn't lead themselves to the latrine BUT were excellent when it came to doing their duties in staff positions.
However I was more making reference to the fact that certain schools in the service will cause him to be thought in the context of "Good For The Army" tracks. A SFC attendee to the Operations and Intelligence Course will generally become a Staff MSG/SGM whereas a SFC attendee of the 1st Sergeant's Course will become a 1SG/CSM.
